We are infinite beings

“In truth, I’m not my body, my race, religion, or other beliefs, and neither is anyone else. The real self is infinite and much more powerful- a complete and whole entity that isn’t broken or damaged in any way. The infinite me already contains all the resources I need to navigate through life because I am One with Universal energy. In fact, I AM Universal energy.”- Anita Moorjani

I do not subscribe to labels. I do not belong in the box that society puts me in. In fact I am the box and I am the table that the box sits on. I am the ground that hold the table that the box sits on. I am all things. We all are all things. We cannot be limited in our being. Not limited in our thoughts and our actions. We are everything. We are the universe and the universe cannot be boxed.

Note to self “surviving toxicity”

What I learnt from toxic relationships

By Mpumi Hlatshwayo 05/08/2019

One of the things I’ve learnt from being in toxic relationships is that it is important to never withhold emotion. Whether this is in romantic relationships or friendships. Do not suppress your heartache or discomfort in any shape or form. This will lead to blocks in your manifestation and throw you off balance. It is vital to always speak your mind and speak your truth. The Leo in me should find this way too easy. But this is not always easy for some. People need to be encouraged as much as possible to stand up for what they believe in and to freely voice their opinions in relationships. It is important that this is instilled in our children today. Some of us were not so lucky to have parents who would allow us to freely be expressive of who we are but we learnt this along our journey of life.

If we find ourselves particularly in soulmate relationships, we will find that those relationships may be very toxic, for many reasons unknown to us when we first meet the person. It is important to know that not all soulmates are meant to be in our lives forever. Please see the different types of soulmates we may come across in our lifetime https://www.davidwolfe.com/5-soul-mates-encounter-life/ .We are meant to learn lessons from these ‘karmic’ soulmates. They are not always the easiest lessons to wrap our heads around but it is always for the best. It is for for our soul’s growth and evolution. It is beneficial to our existence because it makes us better people. When we find ourselves in such situations, we wonder what we have done to deserve such bad luck in relationships. We ask ourselves, “Why can’t I just be happy like so and so?”. That’s is because you are not so and so. You are unique and you are you for a reason. Learn the lesson from that relationship and release yourself from negative emotions that that relationship brings out. Through that lesson you become better and stronger (I know I have) and it allows you to helps others too.

Do not allow yourself to be absorbed and so entangled in a relationship with someone that you lose a part of yourself. By all means you can love and be loved without losing your individuality. Remain dedicated, focused and committed on you and your hopes and dreams. Reflect on where you want to see yourself. What is it that you hope to gain from certain situations. Focus on how you plan to get to your dreams. This is where self love comes in. You start to put yourself first and put more effort and energy in the things that make you happy. This will allow love to shine from within you. When love shines bright enough, eventually you will attract true love into your life. It will definitely come when you’re too busy loving and nurturing yourself. Reflect back on who you are and reconnect with your inner self. Some cycles are just a test, you should congratulate yourself when you make it through.

Once you have learned the lessons. Once you have learned the greater aspect of love of self , there is no going back. You are no longer going back to old cycles. You will be saying no to karmic situations You learn to release the anger and the hurt from toxic relationships. Yes it hurt but do not stay in a rut. Do not wallow in that negativity and misery. Allow yourself to take ownership for your part in a negative situation. We do not go around blaming other people for how everything just went left. We acknowledge how we contributed to that relationship and heal from it and go forth. Acceptance is vital in moving forward and dropping the baggage. Offer and give only to those who are deserving and also giveback. All relationships are about balance. Love is an equal give and take. There should be balance in your emotions and feelings as well. We should not be too hard on ourselves for the mistakes we’ve made. It is all part of our growth process. It is all about our soul’s growth and evolution.

Daily positive reminders

A little kindness and positivity towards yourself can easily be transferred to others. Remind yourself daily of all that you are and all that you can be. Negativity is just as contagious as positivity, share the latter with yourself and others. It is not always easy to remain positive in difficult situations but the least we can always do is try. There is great power in positive affirmation. It costs nothing to give this gift to yourself each and everyday.

The energy of asteroid Juno

[The asteroid of partnership and marriage]

Written by Mpumi Hlatshwayo 24/07/2019 @ 12h30

Astronomers believe that asteroids are remains of what once were planets. Some just consider them as huge rocks of gravel. Yet when they were discovered, they were given names of mythology goddesses e.g Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, Astraea. They were first discovered two centuries ago. In this article we’ll be focusing on asteroid Juno, mmmhhh (what a beautiful name it is). Juno is the carrier of feminine energy because she is all about longevity and deals with relationships. She deals with the energy that binds long-term relationships. Asteroids in general have a much bigger impact on us than planets do. This is because they are a lot closer and their energies are a lot sharper. Asteroids play a significant role in astrology because they are sometimes given birth to by planets.

There is also an ancient story that claims that Juno was married to Jupiter. Juno was known to be a jealous wife and Jupiter was not so innocent himself, as he is said to have had numerous love affairs. The most famous love affair was with lo. You are welcome to read the detailed story in the below link.

Juno represents what we are attracted to in terms of a life partner. This will be indicated by the sign that Juno is placed in on our individual birth chart. Venus is usually the planet is most associated with love. But there is a difference between the two.

The difference is that:

. Venus is how we act when we get into relationships and who we are attracted to romantically.

. Juno is the person who is most compatible for us in terms of long term partnerships.

If your Venus and Juno signs are clashing with one another or are contradictory in any way. You may experience conflict in terms of the type of people you’re attracted to vs the type of people who would actually be more suitable for you. Your Juno placement is what you need to be focusing on in long lasting partnerships. The universe usually knows us better that we know ourselves. So we can look at asteroid Juno as the partner that the universe has handpicked for us. Juno goes beyond sex and physical attraction. It is about loyalty and faithfulness in a partnership.

The sign that Juno is placed in on your chart will describe the attributes of your life partner. It means they will embody that energy and not necessarily be that sign. e.g If Juno is in Virgo, it just means that your ideal partner will embody Virgo qualities. The house placement will describe how you view marriage and its energy. Below is a cheat sheet I created for Juno in the signs.

Side note:

Personally it turns out that for me, that the men I should have been focused on were nowhere near what I thought was my type or what I was into at the time. Now that I’ve matured I see that God knows best what is best for me. Who I was and who I am now…totally different.

If you want to know how to find the placement of Juno in your chart you can do so at http://www.astro-charts.com or http://www.astro-seek.com. You will have to add it as an additional aspect of your chart because it does not automatically appear.

Getting that physical mental and spiritual ‘glow’

Mpumi Hlatshwayo 19/07/2019 @ 12:15

While it is important to look after our bodies on a spiritual and emotional level, it is also of great importance to look after yourself physically. When we look good, we feel good and great things happen when we feel good. We are able to attract positivity. There is power in positivity and vitality of the body, the mind and the soul. Occasionally we all go through rough patches. We might go through relationship difficulties, loss of income or something else that just didn’t go our way. This may have sent us spiraling down a pit of depression or dark night of the soul (as we sometimes to call it). What we go through emotionally will most likely affect us on mentally and physically.

Some of these difficulties may be damn near paralyzing to experiences. This ends up with us being lethargic and unwilling to take care of our appearance. With the help of our friends and family, we are most likely to rise above these situations. I always urge others to pray for their friends because we never really know what others are going through. There are a variety of mental health conditions that we should constantly be educating ourselves on. We are of better use when we know how to deal with situations when they appear.

Every part of our being is energy. We have a mental, spiritual, emotional and physical body. All require the utmost care. There are many practices that one can undertake in order to cater to each aspect of their being. These practices enable us to be balanced within ourselves. When our body is balanced it creates a connection to the universe. We are able to live a more vibrant life. We become more centered. When we embody that positive energy we are able to share that light and positivity with others.

Tips you can easily add to your routine include:

Pray/Meditate daily

Get a workout schedule and stick to it

Develop a skin care routine (moisturizing can save a life)

Drink loads of water

Eat more organic meals (less junk)

Grab a book and educate yourself

Start journaling regularly

Donate items you don’t need (de-cluttering can ease stress)

Avoid negative interactions

Spend plenty of time outdoors

DAILY REMINDER: Remind yourself daily how amazing and cable you are and that remind yourself that positivity is a choice.

What I love most about spirituality.

By Mpumi Hlatshwayo

Like I always say “I’m not religious, I’m spiritual”. Not that there’s anything wrong with religion, it’s just my choice. My reason for the path I chose, the path of higher-consciousness is that it gives me a deeper and more meaningful connection to God. It has allowed me to solidify my relationship with Source who is the divine and infinite consciousness. I have connected to the depths of who I am and who He is through my spiritual practices. He is I and I am Him. To me… God is the source of all that is good and pure. He is my end all be all. I love that I can have a direct connection with Him without any “middleman”. He is the greatness that dwells within.

Spirituality has given me the freedom to embrace my individuality. This path has allowed me to rid myself of the old. It has granted me the freedom to be my true authentic self. I can connect with my higher-self. I can live freely without seeking the approval of others. I embrace the fact that there is more to me than what is here in the physical. There is more to life than the here and now. I find bliss in knowing that there is no need for competition with anyone. Because I am of God, I too am a divine being. I embody the true essence of his power.

What I love most about spirituality is also the understanding that I am never alone. I will never walk alone. I am being led by the voice of my inner guidance. This is assurance that the path I walk is divinely orchestrated. I acknowledge that spirit walks with me. I honour my way-showers and my guides who are sent to assist me on this journey. Spirituality has renewed my faith in the deeper meaning of life. This has allowed me to walk firmly in my authenticity. It has opened my eyes to the great purpose I hold within me.

I have endured a great deal of karma in my life. With spirituality I am able to to dissect and understand the why’s and the how’s of it all. I understand the reasons for pain. I understand the reasons for my being “different”. This journey has taught me that I hold divine power within to help me overcome any trials and tribulations I may come across. Spirituality allows me to revel in my own power and grow from my experiences. I am the creator of my own reality. All that I desire is already within me. I do not need validation from anyone therefore I do not seek it. I do not need others telling me who I should and should not be, what I can and cannot do. I am the writer, director and star of my own show. That is the gift that I’ve been gifted through spirituality.

P.S. Remember that you too hold greatness within.

Spirit & Me

Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible. Through faith we take a risk into unknown territory. This shows that we trust in something that is not visible to catch us when we fall. Faith is a seed, if you sow it, you will reap it. Faith brings us hope, which is the courage to make things happen. Doesn’t matter what you believe in, just believe in something.

“The more in harmony with yourself you are, the more joyful you are and the more faithful you are. Faith is not to disconnect you from reality – it connects you to reality.”- Paulo Coelho
